I have no idea if my car has valet mode, but I've only ever used a valet once. Got invited to a nice dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant, hosted by the managing partners of my firm. It was valet only, and I had just returned from a camping trip a day earlier so my truck was muddy and smelled like campfire inside. I had been invited at the last minute so I didn't have time to clean it up. I definitely felt like Jed Clampett standing with my colleagues when the valet brought it back to me after dinner, especially with my modified exhaust.

I see a number of current Gen 7 series around Vegas. Not sure if I see more of them then W223 S-classes or not, as I do see both of them.

There's at least 3 740i's at my office building, though none belong to my coworkers.

haha, great story.

valet mode is useful for more than valet parking though... when having a car worked on for example, knowing when the car is worked on, limiting speed, etc.

my LS came with a valet key that will start the car but won't allow unlocking of the glovebox

there's also a 3rd key that will only unlock the glovebox and doors but not start the car

(not mine but you get the idea)

My CEL was a faulty purging pressure sensor, there are 2 of them they are part of the EVAP system. They're replacing both, should be done today.

Yeah I don't mind trying out a loaner lol. I was hoping they would have a new E Class. They have a couple in their fleet but they were all out with customers. I've had the previous gen E Class, C Classes, GLCs, a GLE, a GLS...and then of course the A Class, GLA and GLB which I refuse.

I wish I could talk you into taking an A Class for an honest review

I'm ready for a good car rant! 🍟 🍿 🍕 🌭

I've had them, thats why I refuse them lol. I got an A Class back when I had my S560 in for the valve cover gasket repair and it was so awful I took it back later that day and swapped it for another one, thats when I got the GLS. No way I was driving that A Class for a week+. No power seats, by the way.

The A Class and GLA and GLB are all basically the same, same layout inside. They're cheap, loud, uncomfortable...terrible cars.

Oh they do lol.

It’s funny cars like this C Class never appealed to me. But I really like this thing, I’ve been zooming around all day lol. Must be a mid life crisis.

Hate the side front plate.

And real door handles!
