General Car Conversation 2025 - Part 1
When my kids have left the nest, I plan to add a weekend car. Probably something along the lines of an M3, or who knows, maybe a Model S
Garages here in Vegas tend to be small "2" car garages, but good luck opening your car doors if you put 2 cars in the garage. I think the bigger more expensive homes in Summerlin are getting bigger garages though.
I keep the 540i in the garage on one side, and the other side is mostly tools and storage. I couldn't even park my 540i over there anyway because the washer and dryer are against the inside wall and stick out too far for this car to park in that spot.
The truck just lives out in the driveway, too long to fit at all.

I remember watching some English guy who daily drove his Ferrari F40. He didn't give a crap about the nicks and scratches it accumulated throughout its life.
That's exactly how I view my 500. It's got a couple tiny dings and it'll get a lot more. No sense in worrying about it.

When we got our Q7, I tried to fit it in one of our stalls. After 20 minutes of adjusting I had it just about in correctly. At that point I decided there was no way we were going to go through this much effort on the regular, and it therefore has lived on the driveway for the past 8 years.
Our two cars fit well in our garage...as long as we back in.
Have you looked into the cost to get it fixed? I know exactly how you feel.
