The Prius had a failed inverter. It was a common issue in that gen Prius and eventually wound up being a recall after it happened to us.
The warranty will more than likely get extended. Yeah I’m joking around. But if it has a hiccup, hopefully it’s covered and not major. Wife really loves the car. It’s been garaged past few days due to potential hailstorm warning. She’s been in the Prius. 🙃

Prius will be a hard car to part with. Another hybrid would have to replace it.. Friend informed me today he may get rid of his ‘09 Accord coupe V6. For the right price I may be interested.

They may have fixed the issue for MY 2025. I never go to the RC F forum to see if they had the same issue.

I think it's likely they put the updated TB while they were building you car.

Cars of this caliber are absolutely worth a repair every now and then!

I don’t have anything to log it with It’s not going to die🤣

Like 💩??? 😆 Its a Toyota. Never had a CEL. Multiple million mile Tundra owner said he routinely did 10k OCIs sometimes over 10k

Yeah I know the X7 will require white glove treatment. I prefer zero repairs bills per year.

I change oil in my Honda about 5x per year and it sees maybe 3k-4k miles per year. Sees the track though.

OMG you killed a Prius? How?
So you beat on others stuff and don't see an issue? I'm not surprised you beat on your own stuff then lol!

You surely have a scan tool of some sort don't you? That has to be within your toolset and skill set to simply look at timing haha!

The good news is that kids today don't have any interest in jobs like valet parking. Almost all the valets I see today are late 30s to 60s foreign guys, and they're not the type to hoon around in your car. I avoid it whenever I can but sometimes I have no choice.

I also have boring cars, which helps lol.

Only boring to teenagers.

Put a spoiler and a loud exhaust on it and wham, full interest. 😂

Valets aren't going to get nearly as excited about an S Class as they are a Model S Plaid or a sports car. You all aren't typical! Plus, they are everywhere here. I guarantee every valet parks 5-6 S580s a week.

It doesn't, don't take anyone up on an offer to feel a 8 sec car or a 1400hp 60-120. It makes everything afterwords feel weak lol!
