If you ever listen to Smoking Tire (Matt Farah) - he would probably do something like that. The dude hates Elon with a passion and goes on epic rants about Tesla.
Its become like politics if you drive a Tesla or you get stereotyped a certain way.

In general - I find him very annoying and irritating. Closed minded and not very smart.

I tell my agents who consider Teslas all the time not to get a Tesla for this reason. Its just not worth it.

I don’t agree with his thoughts on much besides car stuff.
His ability to drive cars at high skill level and then discuss certain nuances of what makes them better/worse is what I enjoy.
Since Doug came out with his podcast - I don’t listen to Matt that much. We get enough politics from everyone, just want to hear about cars instead of personal rants etc.

There are some posts on bimmer site where some dudes said they got an adapter for their cars so they could charge at Superchargers ... in an emergency case only. Speaking of being pathetic. I think that is.

Second instance I was also in PA and a truck with a few younger guys motioned something as they rolled down the window and passed me but I didn’t see what they did. The when I saw them pass me at light later down the road they rolled down the window and gave me thumbs down.

It had nothing to do with Elon and everything to do with being an EV. These were good ol boys in pickups in the sticks of Pennsylvania.
One thing I will say is I think license plates on EVs that virtue signal annoy me. I saw one the other day that said No OPEC or something dumb like that. I see stupid **** like that on EVs every now and then and it just seems so arrogant to me but that’s just me.
I find those custom plates amusing and clever... maybe I've been drinking the koolaid in CA for too long!
I particularly like the ones that reference greenhouse gasses like "NoC02"

No, Sticker has become useless since I want to say September of 2025. I still have my sticker on, haven't had a chance to pull it off. I did put PPF underneath it so it should peel off nicely. Ive seen cars that have remnants of the sticker since it is not designed to be pulled off cleanly.

I saw an X the other day that had a tag that said, "No Gas". Unfortunately, it looked to have no electricity either because it was sitting on the side of the road halfway in a ditch. Also, unfortunately, you can't walk to the nearest electricity station, buy an electricity can, fill it up, and walk back.
