Drove the Model Y and Model 3 almost back to back (last night took the Y, this morning the Model 3) and the difference in suspension setup, road isolation and NVH suppression is starkly noticeable. The Y rides a bit more stiff, more road noise gets into the cabin, and you can hear the whine from the front motor when you step on it. On the other hand, Y has a better seating position and road visibility is much better 👌
Interesting. You have a Highland 3 and a non-Juniper Y, right? Isn't that the main difference? Do you think the difference would be less pronounced on a Juniper Y?

Yes, I have the pre-refresh Y (Model year 2023), so I have the older suspension setup and less road isolation. I've driven the new Y and it's very similar to my Model 3, except you get more room and a higher drivers position. I test drove the Y refresh last year and it was similar to my Model 3 with better suspension setup, better seats etc
I think the new 3 rides better than the new Y. Not that noticeable on decent roads, but when you get to roughers road, the 3 seems to handle both ride and noise isolation better. Y is still very good.
