Hmmm, I really don't like the gauges in the center of that dash.

On the Mini Cooper there were two ways to move the speedo back in front of the driver. The most common one was to order navigation, which went in the giant circle in the center stack. The other, which was relatively rare and I only discovered recently, was to order the chrono pack. This gave you a really beautifully laid-out set of auxillary gauges:
