Good example of Tesla handling complex multi-level tasks via natural speech
Great video!
I just wanted to point out to anyone else not familiar with Grok in a Tesla, it only handles navigation related tasks currently.
Your point about handling tasks via natural speech though is on point considering the earlier inaccurate comments from Och about the "stagnation" of such technology.
Yes that's right, But it shouldn't be too long before it handles other in-car tasks. And at that point, you're basically driving KITT. Maybe they should add a William Daniels voice option and a KITT personality.

So I am now all in with FSD. I've been using it daily for my work commute, and it has been performing almost flawlessly. A couple of times when right turns are coming up it would try to change lanes to try and go around the "queue", but it learns after a few interventions. It's gotten a lot better about going around slower traffic, and it handles everything from stop and go traffic to traffic flowing at 80 mph. I'm just so amazed how much it's progressed since I first used it in late 2023
I noticed on two separate occasions the car brakes or swerved out of the way from an animal crossing the street. One time was a squirrel that was running across a two lane road. The other time was a paper bag that was flying across the road on the freeway. Unfortunately it swerved to the side of the lane and I intercepted because there was a car in the next lane maybe two car lengths behind. It probably wouldn’t have left the lane but my reaction was to take over.

It wouldn't have left the lane or would have gone back in the lane quickly as it knew there was car behind you. A cone fell off a truck on the 880 and was laying in the left lane and the car (my Model 3) seamlessly maneuvered around it without leaving the lane. It happened so quickly and smoothly that I wouldn't have had time to react...it was a WTF happened moment. The second WTF moment was when in traffic the car put itself in reverse and backed up just enough to let someone making a left turn in. Had no idea at the time FSD was courteous
FSD never ceases to amaze me. This morning on my commute to work, FSD changed lanes to get around slower cars, and in the lane was pieces of shredded tire, FSD instantly spotted the shredded tires, and responded by avoiding the shredded pieces of tires...without leaving the lane. It did it so quickly and smoothly my brain didn't even have time to process the event. Had I been driving I would have either aggressively changed into another lane or rolled over the tire pieces and possibly shot them like projectiles on cars behind me.
It just keeps getting better and better, and every time I use it I'm more and more convinced its almost ready for prime time

Does your car have the front bumper camera? Is that how it's avoiding road debris or is it some other method?
Is FSD also now avoiding/slowing down for pot holes?
