as is often, this is maybe half true but mostly based on out of date info. new teslas are very 'forgiving' when it comes to fsd. you'd have to majorly screwing around for it to disablle.
I’m not proud of it but when I had the trial FSD a few months ago I would get booted off. I also almost always get booted off of auto steer now since I don’t pay for FSD. Sometimes it is BS because it tells me to put my hands on the wheel for auto steer and I do and it boots me off anyway but most of the time I deserve it.

You really have to do ******* stuff to get booted 🤣

Like I said, I’m not proud of it. One thing to try is wear a baseball cap with FSD. It recognizes that you have a hat on and won’t be as lenient since it can’t see your eyes.
Are we confusing actual strikes with warnings? The latter, like a nag because it thinks you aren't paying attention, isn't the former. You have to accumulate multiple nags before you get a strike. If you get an actual strike, you probably deserve it.
And even then you only lose FSD for the remainder of that trip. You have to have 5 strikes to get an FSD lockout, and strikes are forgiven after 3.5 days. If you get an FSD lockout, you probably ought to not be on the road.
