Youtube has become a cesspool of people who gain followers and churn out bs content and clickbait for a check. This guy literally has a tesla & rivian referral link in his bio. Naturally he would hate this .
When i see the usual dumbass thumbnail with a dumb pose or face, it’s a red flag he’s just doing what the algorithm says to do.
This is not to say the RZ is some amazing EV. I get it .
His opinions are fine, but they are all framed to be ragebaity.
Now the real problem is that he is testing charging and keeps referring to the miles added as charging speed. Whats worse, it is miles added metric in the car.
Tell me you have not clue about EVs without telling me you have no clue about EVs.
There is some other weird crap about not expecting to charge or not knowing where to charge, I mean thats not cars fault... or paying for navigation which is a problem of the press car.
You are going the wrong way with this. My issue was with the reviewer’s typical clickbait tactics and you came to defend Tesla. Period, end of discussion.
I am not allowed to like certain vehicle? Is that the direction you mean?
I just want to say @1SICKLEX that I know this is a Lexus forum, and I appreciate you giving us a space to talk about Tesla and other EV's. Although we don't always agree and we have differing opinions, that's OK, I'm thankful you let us have ours without too many restrictions.
With that said, my preference in the EV space for now will be Tesla because of three main factors: 1) FSD/software stack 2) largest charging infrastructure 3) large number of service centers
Last night I took an Uber where the driver had a Kia EV9, and although a really nice EV, it's had a few glitches including some software where they had to take it in the dealership, as well as 12v LV battery drain. I want an EV for not just my work commute, but for my overall driving including trips, and I just don't feel confident with any other EV brand on long trips. My Tesla's are no brainers when it comes to long distance trips
He rides the line between sarcasm, parody and being real I think most people fail to pick up on this nuance. There is no need to take him 100% seriously.

Yep, that's why I love him. And IMO he's 100 percent fair. The bias towards Tesla for me is totally understood. I have it, I wear it as a badge of honor. And of course he wants to monetize it, that's how he makes his living

Club Lexus>Car Chat>General EV Conversation
No one said not to like your car. Why are you playing victim? My commentary was about the reviewer and Youtubers in general. Which you took as some sort of attack on you.
Maybe you are him? lol

My post wasn’t about Tesla. It was about another clickbait Youtuber.
If he thinks the RZ 550e is the worst EV well he needs his head examined.

I personally don't judge cars by what YouTubers post, even if I like the YouTuber. I have to drive it myself and make my own determination. The only one I really trust is Jason Camisa, although even then I need to drive the drive the car myself

I don't know many car reviewers.
I mostly just watch some of the videos members on here drop. Lol

it’s not a bad small crossover. It definitely has a nice fit and finish compared to the RX
the engine bay criticism is weak. What’s so wrong about being able to look at the motor the powers your vehicle. as boring as it might be with an electric motor
