It’s typing…tone doesn’t come across. Like I said if he wanted a Tesla he would have bought a Tesla regardless of what she thought…and on the level of things he or she care about, Tesla and Elon are way down the bottom of the list.
I think he’s a huge *****. He could save my kids life and I will still think he’s a huge *****. He doesn’t care what I think of him and you shouldn’t either.
Doesn’t Elon have like 15 kids and 9 baby mommas. Something like that.
No she couldn’t care less about what Elon does or says.
She actually drives it the most because I only go to the office once a week. I don’t really know why she hates it so much and surprisingly the only thing she likes is the yoke! I don’t think it has anything to do with it being an EV, I’m sure she would like something more luxurious like a Lucid.
It’s funny how a Tesla ruins other cars for you. My wife loves the Model S for the effortless power and the tech, so whenever she drives my son’s E350, she thinks it’s broken because it feels so slow and she thinks the brakes are not good. I’m a fan of the Mercedes myself, especially the solid suspension, but even I have a hard time going back to standard brakes after getting used to the Tesla's regen system.

Virtually all electric vehicles have a regenerative braking system. Perhaps the best answer to your problem is to simply not drive in a manner where you need to do a lot of heavy braking.

Went out practicing some motorcycle stunts in a parking lot on Saturday. A friend of mine brought a small electric motorcycle - no engine noise, doesn't attract attention, less chances of someone calling the cops on us. Had a ton of fun, ran drills for 3 hours, and still have 80% of battery left. The downside is you can't really register it, at least in NY, so there is no legal way to ride it on the roads. https://eboxelectric.com/ebox-v3-72rs-black.html
Yeah, you would need to go up in EV bike class in order to register one. My neighbor has one, I think it's made by Zero.

I'm not sure what you're point is. Isn't that the case with any car you drive, regardless?
Yeah, might as well outsource your car decisions to the cast of The View. lol
Everybody decides who they want to support with their dollars. Many people refuse to buy foreign made cars as an example, thats totally their prerogative. This is no different.

You are absolutely correct, but nobody has ever threatened to torch someone's car or encouraged people to commit vandalism. For example in the 80's (when I was growing up) there was a big propaganda push to buy American cars. We bought German cars and nobody vandalized them, nor did they vandalize Japanese and Korean cars, which at the time their purchases were considered less patriotic purchases

Oh people have done similar things. Remember eco terrorists torching SUVs? People have had foreign cars vandalized because they were foreign cars...might not have happened to you but it did happen.
My Dad resisted buying a foreign car for many years because he was concerned the labor unions he did business with would be offended and would stop doing business with him. Even after he did finally get the LS400, he drove my Explorer when he would see them or play golf with them etc for the same reason.

Depends on where you are.....and the vehicles involved. First, if, for example, you work at an American UAW plant, and you have a vehicle that is of a different brand parked in the plant's employee-lot, or was built overseas, or maybe even the same brand in a different UAW plant, you can almost take it to the bank that your vehicle will probably be vandalized at some point......that's just the nature of the labor-force. Second, a lot of people have vandalized Teslas, simply because they don't like Elon Musk or his politics. Third, as Steve pointed out, vandalizing SUVs, and particularly with large ones like the Tahoe and Expedition, was once popular (and still is in some places) due to their gas-guzzling image. Some dealerships have experienced major losses from acts like that. Like it or not, we live in a country (and world) that has its share of nut-jobs....they want people to respect their views, but they won't respect the views of those who disagree.
