i guess you're just smarter than me. or just a long week here. but it's unusual to have a user post something written by someone else without attribution.

not sure why they would feel the same as gas cars with lower center of gravity, completely different drivetrain, etc.

but if you're saying driving the blazer ev feels like driving the gas blazer then i'd say chevolet has a problem.

The KIA I rode in, didn’t ride like my sisters KIA. It felt like it was a new brand.
but it's not the same model or year or anything.

The Escalade rode like an Escalade rides
you rode in or drove the new escalade ev?

but you also said you'd expect the ev models to be like the gas ones which doesn't follow on its own or in that how could it be like the v6 AND the v8 experiences you refer to?

My V6 doesn’t do it. So both my SUVs are different experiences. All the EVs at the show were silent. (aside from the Daytona)
See, that's where I have a problem. Like ICE, different EV'S drive differently. My Model 3 drives nothing like my Model Y, which drives nothing like my Ioniq 5. See where I'm coming from. It's like saying a Camry drives like a 5 Series

Oh yeah, and EV'S are not supposed to drive like either 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder, or V8'S. They are EV'S, not gasoline vehicles

Correct me if I’m wrong are you guys insinuating that all EVs ride/drive better than gas cars? I think better is subjective here. Just like you think a LC500 hybrid is better than the non hybrid LC that you own.

And you’re smart enough to hold on to that 🔥breathing V8 LC you have in storage knowing it will be worth more than what you gave for it down the road. 😏

I take you didn’t smell it

But I can smell the fumes!!

I’ve been going back and forth whether to go catted or catless in the Supra 😁

From my perspective, hell yeah 👍. Especially when I smoked that over $100k Porsche driving a daily commuter/family car yesterday. But that doesn't mean ICE vehicle drive bad, or I hate them. EV'S just drive way better, way smoother, which is why I transitioned. That's just my opinion

I am not saying the EV drive is bad. All the EVs we drove were all driveline silent. A quiet drive train is great. But some people don’t prefer that. My friend, she has a modded WRX and she got a ticket the other day for a loud exhaust. Manual transmission. Turbo….her boyfriend is interested in EVs and can appreciate them, he is studying the new Hyundai and how it has some sort of s simulation gear shifter, and he is interested in seeing it when it hit the street. He has a Mustang 5.0 manual, modded exhaust as well. And I agree the ride and the driving characteristics of EVs are all very different

We've had this discussion many times. And the conclusion has always been that they are not for you. I have no issues with that

Today I went from Driving the Y around to my Camry 5-speed manual the difference is, jarring. Sometimes it's nice to go analog in a sense. But the difference is drastic a gas engine at first seems like there is something very wrong, can't drive telepathically as it were.

I love both, but if I only had an EV then not sure how I would cope.

after driving or riding in 15 different EVs My appreciation for EVs can only grow. I really enjoyed the test drives. I really liked the softness of the ride in Lexus. And the Rivian was very impressive. Usually pick up truck ride soft out back because there is not much weight. Toyota. Toyota c channel frames were the worst for that, you notice it when you drive the body on frame SUVs, so I was instinctively thinking that when I saw the Rivian truck, the Rivian was planted to the ground. It felt so structurally strong. The F150 BOF didn’t feel as strong (maybe it is. I dunno). So kudos to Rivian. .The 4WD was great as well, the streets in Toronto were cold and wet with snow and slush, it felt planted. The design is terrific. The only caveat is the price, $150,000 where I am. One thing that did ruin the test drive was the instructor, he kept selling us on the merits of EV, the power, the range, where he lives, potential gas savings etc, he kept talking, we just wish we could have enjoyed the experience in silence.

IMO I think in Canada and everywhere not the United States, the industry should advertise and speak in this style of language and metric. Most don’t understand this.

i wonder why someone would want the LC500h over the LC500

maybe AJT has to make a V8 coming back to Lexus prediction.

Toyota just promoted all their options at the show. And trucks on all on their own.

I love this this interior. IMO, the fit and finish is superior to any of the Lexus gas models. It feels like older Lexus than modern Lexus. Perfect ergonomics. The steering wheel was so soft

Cool roof.

So I was looking online for Tesla stores that had some different colored Model S’ to look at this weekend in real life before I ordered and it looks like Tesla got the memo and I was right that their range on my Plaid was compete BS when it came out. Range with 19” wheels is now 348 and with 21” wheels it’s down to 312. That seems more in line with what I got on a trip going 70 mph where I only got around 250-260 miles with sentry on. The original claim was around 400 with 19” wheels and 348 with 21” wheels. I remember people claiming I didn’t know what I was talking about now I feel validated.
