Here we have some drool-worthy video, officially released by Lexus International to showcase their new Lexus RC F racecar competing in the 2014 Super GT series. As Autoblog points out, it’s an odd tip of the hat to a concept depicting high society x tech.
When I was originally introduced to Lexus’ now signature spindle grille, I wondered who on the executive design team came up with the idea and (honestly) what possessed them to do so. Autocar has finally found an answer.
This is an impressive statement from the famously snarky presenter–especially given how much he used to bash Lexus in the past. But hey, things can change right? And this isn’t the first time Clarkson has praised Lexus.

Though full details are still unconfirmed for the time being, here are some interesting shots of the Lexus RC F with potential an optional carbon-fiber aero package, offered directly through Lexus.
You may not know it, but Yukihiko Yaguchi is kind of a big deal. He’s the one responsible for making sure the engine and transmission of the last generation IS-F was capable of performing on and off the race track.
Shortly after the RC-F was proudly debuted to the world through a deluge of releases and announcements, a pair of graphic artists from Hungary have taken it upon themselves to show the world what they think a Lexus “RC-FC” would look like.
Last weekend kicked off the start of racing season in the USA with the 24 Hours of Daytona. Unfortunately for us, Lexus isn’t fielding a car in the United Sportscar Championship. That sucks, because the RC-F looks might fine when dressed up in racing gear.
