Default what will your next car be and when?

thought this might be fun.

for me, nothing too soon. i have 2 cars, 2023 hyundai ioniq 5, which the lease ends this october and i don't currently plan to replace it, and a 2026 tesla model y premium rwd which i only got in september!
if anything 'vehicular' maybe i'd like to replace my ancient gas golf cart i use at home to collect downed branches, move fence boards, do maintenance, etc. maybe get an actual utility vehicle that's more suited. and electric.

I hope this doesn't veer away from the intent of the thread, but I could very well be on my last car. It's 2 years old with very low miles and at my age probably won't need another one. The only caveat is that I get the new car bug, change my mind and get something new.

I've had my RCF for 4 years now and still love driving it; currently has 155k miles.

My next car may be either an LC or 911.

I'm keeping the Regal as a beater car (40k miles).

No plans to depart with either the Tundra or the GS in the foreseeable future. My wife wants something smaller than her current Highlander so that may be next, whatever she decides. She's in no hurry.

And my daughter is 14, so we'll be getting something for her within the next couple of years. Not sure what yet, but something reliable that she can take with her through college. Something like a RAV4 or CX-5.

Unfortunately I have cars but not much time or place/weather to drive them.

Honestly just thought about selling all of them….

Almost nothing new that interests me. I do have long list of older cars I would love to experience but not necessarily “own”.

I’m toying with idea of getting a cheap convertible but i need one that fits 4 people which is very hard lol
BMW F33 440i or last gen MB S560 vert would be potential options.

Out of new cars - thought about following:
LC500
C8 Z06
M2 - i passed on M2cs allocation
New 911 GT3
BRZ
Nissan Z nismo

Not many exciting options in the under $250k space.

Got current NX as my "retirement car" that's supposed to take me to retirement in a few yrs and beyond.

Hub will keep his Tundra Ltd.

Got the SC430 last summer for our wknd pleasure and fun-in-the-sun car.

If anything, I would get my absolute dream SC -- I have a couple specific ones in mind and if and when they were to ever become available and I was in a position that I could, I absolutely would...

I've been wanting to replace my S7 for a bit now, but not sure what I want in today's market... Should have gotten an M5 (F90) when I still had the chance. The new M5 (G90) is so ugly, but it's also such a porker. That's not to say the old one was light by any means, but going from 4,000 lbs to 5,300 lbs is crazy.

Have to replace the Pacifica late this summer, have a wide variety of things we are considering. Just buying it out and keeping it is one, buyout is $30k. GLS450, X7, TX550h+, Rivian R1S, Lucid Gravity all are potentials...

S580 wont look to replace it until June 2027.

I'm probably going to keep my 5-year-old Encore GX a little while longer (I renewed its OnStar a couple of days ago), but its replacement will almost certainly be another GX of the current-generation, or, slightly less-likely, a Chevy Trailblazer....I have very little personal interest in anything else. I'd say a virtually 100% chance on a GX, except that the Chevy/Buick/GMC franchise I deal with now only handles Chevy and GMC, and I like their sales-policies and service department.....people that I have dealt with for almost 15 years now. The Trailblazer disappoints somewhat, with more road-noise than the GX, and the lack of a 360-view camera option which I find important, but otherwise is pretty much the same vehicle mechanically...with a couple of inches of added length.

Not sure, I have my house paid off now so I can buy practically anything but nothing out there is "worth it" outside a few exceptions and none of them are new.

I also have a side project starting that is probably a much better use of money right now, if it pays off in 5 or so years it would enable the pursuit of planes instead of cars lol!

No idea. As with my last car, I'm all over the place. Rivian R2 has my interest...

Not sure right now. I'm all over the map. My 2 year anniversary of owning my IS 500 is next month and I'd like to keep it a long time.

If the IS 500 never came out I'd almost certainly be in a BMW M2 or M3.
