About a year ago, the only real performance offerings from Lexus were the IS-F, the LFA, and the F-Sport line. There was no hint of the RC coupe and the idea of an RC-F was pure fantasy. There were just these two.
You may not know it, but Yukihiko Yaguchi is kind of a big deal. He’s the one responsible for making sure the engine and transmission of the last generation IS-F was capable of performing on and off the race track.
At the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, Lexus showcased the LF-NX HV and the compact crossover concept received extremely positive feedback from the automotive press. Later that year, at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus again showed off the LF-NX. But this time, the focus was on previewing the brand’s first turbocharged engine.

Shortly after the RC-F was proudly debuted to the world through a deluge of releases and announcements, a pair of graphic artists from Hungary have taken it upon themselves to show the world what they think a Lexus “RC-FC” would look like.

Last weekend kicked off the start of racing season in the USA with the 24 Hours of Daytona. Unfortunately for us, Lexus isn’t fielding a car in the United Sportscar Championship. That sucks, because the RC-F looks might fine when dressed up in racing gear.
