The oil level sensor is atop the upper oil pan on right side. Be sure to replace the gasket if removing. mind the swing-arm. The oil pressure switch is on the left..at or near the oil filter bracket. The wiring harness side connector shells become extremely brittle with age, so be sure to have replacement connector shells on hand if disconnecting....available from Lexus. (Hint..the old ones are so brittle that I simply use small needle nose to break apart the plastic from around the contacts...

Air Intake Tube reinstalled with heat reflecting Relect-A-Cool tape. The tape is not visible from top of engine. (For those in the know..this is anthe more efficient S430 thermostat housing neck...)

M10 diameter shoulder bolt with M8-1.25 threads. Possible to use, but requires shoulder length to be exact for each particilar vehicle body through-hole bracket mount....not the best engineered solution..

Shoulder bolt selected. It is typical the have an undercut immediately beneath the head on the shank which i did not like so....

Shoulder bolt is perfect fit(top of screen).two M10 flat washers and one M10 Lock washer used to fill the gap. One M8 lockwasher and one M8 Self-locking nut used on threaded portion to cap it off. Look at the gap between the brake cylinder clevis(has yellow grease) and brake pedal arm This confluence soalswad also causing noise...

Brake master cylinder clevis after shimming... worked wonders.. The new clevis pin also had some tolerance with brake pedal arm...I was considering having it bronze bushed .but overall, $10.worth of parts, and Toyota Body Grease has made a significant improvement. Next project is gas pedal plastic bearing assembly. Noticeable slop here too. Metal pin on plastic bearing...
