Before application of reflecting foil tape in light pocket... 

Also...mind the plastic tabs closest to the firewall when extracting the passenger side undercover, or you will shear them off..

Dome/reading light assembly showing highly polished relectors for reading lamp bulbs but not the main domelight festoon bulb.....more of a heat shield and the matte white surface does not present optimum reflectivity or uniformity....although the lense assembly does a lot to cover for this.

The original threaded hex bolt standoff is corroded....resistance/voltage drop to block....Could it me cleaned..possibly, but the protective coating is toast and well worth replacing for a few dollars

The synthetic back label suggests it is a substitute for Toyota Type IV... If so why can't we use Toyota Type IV in our power steering systems....and why didn't Toyota do so in the first place...cost differential?

Exploded Lexus parts diagram of 1998 LS400 P.S. pump internals... Lexus shop manual  and parts list outlines the individual.pump vanes are tolerance specific and fitted by P.N....similar to valve shims..It is highly unlikely the rebuilder gets it right...never mind the quality of bearings, o-rings, shaft resizing, polishing, replating, etc

Glovebox has access hole with room for finger to compress the two side plastic  lances and allowing  downward pressure to push module out without removing glovebox.
