Default common or concern about air?

hey guys,

so i have been on air for a couple months and everything has been going great with the system as i was driving it daily. however, i recently left the car sitting at my drive height for a period of about 4 days of non-use and noticed that the tank deflated about 40psi causing the front bags to deflate completely. i aired back up and let it sit again and it did the same. i had the soapy water method done with no leaks found. it seems like the tank loses little air every 24 hrs of non use (maybe 4-5 psi). is this something common in these systems or should i be more concerned and have it looked into further???

thanks for your quick replies...

There's a leak somewhere. If it bothers you, you gotta find it.
Might be at the tank, might be the check valve off the pump.......

Check fittings at the strut. And the tank.... even if the tank looses air the air bags should still stay the same.

Like my tank does loose psi on a daily basis, but my ride height is exactly the same. (The air in the bags are the same.)

So there may be a leak somewhere along the lines or at the fittings.

Remember weather changes from hot to cold does have an affect on the metal fittings. In the cold the metal fittings shrink and if its not sealed 110% air will come out. But in the summer the metal expands filling in the space.

I'm thinking of going with air. What air ride systems is everyone using?

there is definetly a leak some where or else you wouldnt be losing pressure. make sure you spray everything good and check all fittings, not just at the tank but like mentioned at the bags as well.

You can always add a one way check valve between the tank before the valves. That way, the air won't leak back through the valves, if your tank pressure is lower then the pressure in the bags.
