Default 4 Gallon tank for air ride?

I've been doing some research and cant seem to find any info on 4 gallon tanks. Most people i am reading about either use a 3 or 5 gallon tank for the air ride setup. I was wondering if a 4 gallon tank would work? Why do most people skip 4 gal and go straight to 5?

In your opinion, do you think the 4gal tank enough? In the beginning I know ill be airing up and down alot because its new and who doesnt like like playing new toys. But over time itll be more of regular use.
