In about half of my trips (short or not) I receive twice a message about a "notification failure" (Pls contact your dealer, etc.). Whenever this message is shown, I've noticed that:
a. I cannot search for a specific address, POI, etc. on the navigation system.
b. On the radio, there's no info about the playing song (title, LP cover)
c. The small square light, just besides the SOS button is RED (instead of green), which means that this service is NOT working!!!
Last week, I visited my nearby dealer; after a quick inspection of the vehicle with no result, he said that he was going to send a report to Lexus about this issue. Till now I haven't received any update about the issue.
Sb may say that navigation or radio issues are minor problems, maybe not worth to be mentioned, however I strongly believe that the working status of the SOS button is very important and it has always to be guaranteed 1000%, as nobody knows when it will be needed!
Plz let me know if you have faced any similar issues & possible solution, if any.

I had an identical issue 3 months ago. This was solved by the official Lexus dealership for Central Europe - they did a remote restart of the module. This problem has not occurred since.

This is very promising! I am currently waiting for an appointment with the Lexus Greece dealership, for a second attempt. I will tell them about the way you solved the issue, so I would appreciate it if you could be more detailed.
That's funny, the first message " Notifications cannot be started. Contact your dealer." appeared on the infotainment system of my new Lexus UX in Greece on my car holiday from Prague to Chalkidiki 🙂 Also, my navigation didn't find any destinations and the SOS LED was red, not green. After returning home from Greece I contacted my Lexus dealership in Prague, they then contacted the official Lexus dealership in the Czech Republic. And a couple of days later they called me to try the functionality again, they did a reboot restart module in my car. Today I don't notice any such problems anymore. Try to contact your dealer to contact the official Lexus dealership in Greece, they should solve it with a remote reboot.

Wow! The funny thing is that I ALSO WAS ON VACATION IN HALKIDIKI!!!! when this message first appeared!!
It was the beginning of July, and my car was purchased at the end of April, and until then I had no problems...
Is it a coincidence or did something else happen, like for example different network coverage (5G, 4G, 3G)?
Maybe something was in the air in Halkidiki 😄 My car was made in April and delivered at the end of May. I was in Halkidiki by this car at the second half of July and the notification also appeared for the first time there!!! My car navigation did not work till the end of my vacation, it was not very convenient when you are on holiday abroad. But I think it could be an coincidence, but who knows, it is really strange…
After several tries, I managed to overpass the navigation & radio info issue by activating the wi-fi & using my mobile as a hotspot. However it can't be done this way...while in addition the SOS button issue still remains. I do hope to have my car fixed soon!
A last question, when you say that "they did a remote restart of the module" what do you mean? Could you be more specific?

I am sure that it will be fixed! When I first discussed the problem with the notification and navigation with my dealer they asked me if the sos led light remained red. After that, they said it could be a problem with a module, where sos button is placed. I don’t unfortunately understand it but they fixed it and since August the sos light remains green.
I love my UX and I also love Greece! My favourite country! This last summer visited many places and awesome beaches in Kassandra and Sithonia Peninsula, also Thessaloniki for couple of days, love it 😊
