Default Front camber kit required?

I recently lowered my 2007 GS430 on NF210s with stock wheels. I put the rear Megan arms on the back to fix possible camber issues. My assignment guy said the back is most important because it is the drive wheels. The front he said was ok, but wanted to keep an eye on the tires over a few thousand miles. I see most of the posts on front kits are guys adding more negative camber to the front, not correcting for front issues.
So are they needed to get long tire life???

I still get a lot of tire wear in the front. At least for me. I have the SPC camber kit in the rears and it has helped a lot.

What springs are you on? Wear would be dependent on how low

I would correct the front camber also. I'm in the same boat as you, lowered on BC's maybe about 2". If I recall my toe is within spec maybe slightly out. Camber is off both front and rear, especially passenger rear (odd). I thought about just correcting the rear camber with the SPC kit and leaving the fronts. I'm not totally sold on the SPC ball joint kit and would rather replace the upper arm with the Megan one (2nd Gen IS) but as you said people are trying to achieve - camber with them on a GS. I tried to call Megan to see if they actually tested the 2gen IS front upper arn on a GS but no response. People are charging an arm and a leg to install and align the SPC ball joint kit. I'd so it myself if the apper arm, thats just me though.

I've been watching my tires for the last 1K miles, and the wear seems good so far. I'm bringing it back into the alignment shop in another 1K to have them check it. They said they like to watch tire wear to confirm a good alignment.

I'd still like to hear others opinions on front camber adjustments with mild (1") drops. There has to be more people that have gone through this....

Camber for the front isn't really needed unless you want to tuck your wheels.

From what i understand the suspension on the 2IS and 3GS are exact. With that said, if they make the upper arm for the 2IS, it should fit and function on the 3GS fine..
