I need a decent place in az for window tinting. I had it done at the lexus dealer when I picked up the car, but I want to go darker. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg though. I'm in north scottsdale, but I can drive for a decent place.

 

Frank Dent, Hes the best around I have had two cars done with him and they came out flawless. He tints the Maricopa county sheriffs department vehicles and almost everybody I know goes to him. He works out of Safeshield Auto Glass in Fountain Hills on Tuesday's however to meet over head it will be more expensive at Safeshield he mostly tints out of shop/home (Xtreme Custom Window Tinting) in Mesa on Greenfield and Main St Next to Fry's. He'll do everything from sunroofs and windshields and of course windows. He just tinted my SC with limo and it came out perfect. Larry Kerns at Artisan Armorcoat did a great job on mine and my clear bra. 480-789-9007. He is in Gilbert though. There is another guy on here, Cody something or other, that has a few fans. Look in the AZ clear bra thread for his info.

 

They charged an arm and a leg for my boyfriends tint on his evo VIII. I've seen quotes around on the forums for 150-200 tinting all around. He was charged 275 for his tint.

 

Yeh... their pricing is a bit higher. We chose them mainly because their shop was 5-min walk from my husband's office (GoDaddy) and they were highly recommended by several members in other lux car forums.

 

isgrrl - i keep forgetting to ask my friend who tinted her G35. she had EVERY WINDOW tinted and it looks GREAT. i'll find out and let you know.

 

I shopped around and most places in the valley that look respectable were charging between $175-200. A few places much higher. I paid $215 for nav friendly Llumastar tint on my IS.
