Are SC430's appreciating now?

It might be a combination of the two.
and as said above, my local Lexus dealer said they come in and are sold right away.
I have been looking for an LS500 for over a year and they seem to move quickly if priced correctly.
if you are patient, a nice SC430 will come your way.
my 08 PB with 37k miles on it would only be sold by me for a premium price. $35k?
too nice after I fixed it and non replaceable because of the probably no longer available sway bars and the definitely not available gen 3 luxlink with quarter window control.
Hardtop convertible. Is there another good one?
the good left in the car in my mind Is part of its value.
The car has at least 300k miles of driving left in it.
Let someone else sell there’s for less. God bless them
Which would explain the reason SC prices are going up. ALL used car prices are going up. (only my theory) After all, they say "a rising tide lifts all boats"

I'm a little doubtful about a $20,000 value, but it depends on year mileage and condition. No doubt a super low mileage SC430 in excellent condition could fetch over $20,000. A recent auction one sold for $25,000 with 60K mileage. Checking Hemmings 50K and 60K mileage SC430s are listed for $18,900.
My first year 2002 has 83K miles and all service has been performed by Lexus dealer. Timing belt replaced, new rotors and tires and all regular maintenance has been performed. Lots of extras. Excellent condition. I am thinking $17,900 is a fair price for this Lexus. Anybody want more info give me a shout. Located in Columbus, Ohio.

Assuming that is true, the spurious remarks used as attempted humor by three British comdians surpressed values for a time. That gave those of us who appreciated the craftmanship ( ancient woodworking company spending 10 days to create the steering wheel, the liberal use of aniline leather, dashboard accents supplied by Yamaha Musical Instruments, and Mark Levinson 8 ohm stereo!!!!) an opportunity to purchase and cherish one of these remarkable cars.
Customization by misguided individuals causes the unspoiled examples to further up-value: I turned one down initially because the radio ohad been "modernized", a procedure which caused me to wonder what other "improvements" the previous owner had abused the car.
Lastly, while it's the generally-accepted opinion that the SC430 was created to compete with the Mercedes SL, have another look at the relative luxury of the interior of both cars and you'll find the interior of the SC far superior ( and all the stuff still works!!) The elliptical taillights and the transome-shaped tail complete with swim deck, and headlights shaped like a 12 meter yacht under full sail the Lexus SC430 is more appropriately compared to a Bentley Continental GT convertible.
Most buyers today are looking for SC for $10,000-$15,000 with high mileage.
Time will tell if the SC430 will be like a 560SL or a 911
I certainly hope so!! We just bought one last weekend and probably paid on the high end for it, BUT, it was set up how we wanted it, 2004, 57k miles, bright Red exterior with the Saddle/black interior. I really wanted bone stock but this one had a radio upgrade with the BT, Car play, backup camera, etc. It did however have the original radio to go with it in case I wanted to go back, but I most likely will not as the radio has the things I want and would probably add anyway.
So yes, I am hoping they are appreciating!
