Default model year and price drops

When do the Lexus 09's come out? September like they all used to? I'm still looking for that perfect 04-06 UL without black and if the price drops are going to be considerable, I need to wait to get it until the new model years are out so I don't take a huge depreciation hit just because of a month. I'm seeing 05's in the 28k range and lower even now!

David-There are a BUNCH of 05 LS's coming off lease in the last few months. Most of these are under 45K miles and have been very well maintained compared to other leases. In addition, they're coming into the market when people are rabidly looking for more gas efficient cars. Even though the LS gets great mileage for a large car, it is not exactly what people think of when they think of good gas mileage. I personally think the 05 LS is the steal of the century right now. When else are you going to get Consumer Report's most dependable car ever tested, a car universally regarded as one of the finest luxury cars available in the world which 3 years ago sold for $70K+ for under $30K? You can't wipe the grin off my face every time I drive mine.

I'm actually looking into the '05 right now and most are in the 30K miles range and running about $33-34K with the custom luxury package. The "under $30k" range, what are we talking about, base, or with modern luxury, etc.?

Thanks.

33k is not too far from 30k, just to negotiate. don't take things to literally.

Default $5K difference

ha ha. $34K to $29K is $5K and in the $30K range, that's percentage wise not insignificant. $115K or $110K would not mean much, but $8K or $2K is a big difference.

I just don't want to pay $34K for a custom package if market value and it's negotiable to $29K.
