Default ABS Sensor

Hi,

so my front right abs sensor has went bad... i am trying to order a sensor from rock auto but wondering why there is two different types available?
OEM: 89542 30160
Aftmrkt: ABS806 or ALS696

1) under speed sensor category you see ones without wires:

2) when i type abs sensor i get these full sensor with wires

i was assuming abs sensors on SC come as one piece right? the wires dont seperate from the sensor? unless sensors in 1) are for some other area on the car

Thanks guys

What are the symtoms of it going bad and did you recently have any front end work performed?
I ask because I had an issue right after I replaced a bunch of parts on my front end.
I did a battery disconnect/reconnect and everything was fine again

When it happened to me, I
removed the one screw holding the sensor,
pulled it out,
wiped the grease off the end,
reinstalled,
Disconnected the battery terminal for five minutes
Reconnected,
Reset the codes using my code reader and reset the lights by shorting OBDII pins 4&14.

No more issues
Did you address this problem, in another thread several weeks ago, or did this just happen?

I actually cleaned the sensor myself too but did not unplug battery so ill try that.. and yes i previously brought it up but that was for the knock sensor which also brought up the VSC lights, thats gone and now its the abs light causing it.

but ill try disconnecting terminal for a few minutes. thank you!
