Default Sensor Headache!!!

I took my 1994 SC300 in to have the engine rebuilt, the shop was 90% done putting the car back together and the owner was arrested.... They let me get my car and most of my engine parts, I've got it ready except I have a sensor missing and I have purchased the supposed "correct" sensor 3 times from the local dealer now im hoping one of you guys can help me with what this sensor is or maybe even a part number. Im told it is the second Temperature Sensor "2 Wire". It is on the driver side of the head behind the power steering pump, between cylinder 1&2, it is the second one. Please help!! I really miss driving my baby

Coolant temp sensor. For the ecu to determine fueling. Where did your old ones go? Where in tx are you?

It's a really common part and can be had for cheap at the junkyard. Don't have a p/n off hand, but Lexus parts people are retards. I asked for a pilot bearing, he brought me a throw out bearing. Try Toyota or the link I sent you or contact me if you're in the Austin area, I have a few of them and a small shop if you need anything else.

89422-20010. Feel free to hit me up if you're in town. The 2 pin one is the right one. The single wire one you have in the picture is for the cluster and looks like the older version. Make sure the plug fits it. I have one (2jzge complete) on the stand at the shop, ill snap a pic tomorrow. It requires a seal washer.

So my engine here is a 96, and has the different single wire sender for the cluster. It is also located in the hole under cyl 2, not 1 as you have it pictured. I honestly can't say if they were different in earlier years, but I'm fairly certain your single wire sensor is the wrong one. I'll Pm you my number, you're more than welcome to call/text and ill help where I can. Maybe alisc3 will chime in as he has lots of ge experience, I always chunk em for gte
