Default Help Front Sensor

Hey guys i need your help. My ball joint broke and i just had it along with the tie rods replaced. However when my ball joint broke apparently one of my front sensors broke too. On my dash are the ABS, VSC and VSC OFF indicators. What is the name of the sensor that i need to replace in order for them to go away along with the price and where can i get it. Thanks

Vehicle speed sensor. Call your local lexus dealership to see what the cost is. It shouldn't be hard to replace, should take around 15-20 mins to complete.

It's fine to drive without it for a few weeks. Are you sure it is your ABS sensor that's broken? What I would do is disconnect your abs sensor from the main line running to your car and take a multimeter and test the resistance on the sensor. Normal operating sensor should register 1.6-1.7 OHMs. Also, take off your ABS sensor and clean it with electrical cleaner.

Thanks for the tip. Is it easy to disconnect and reconnect, also what tools do i need get this done. Does the car need to be on a lift or can it be done on the ground? Thanks again.
