got my car back from bodyshop this week (front end repainted and new oem headlights due to sand damage), and have noticed light output hasn't been as good, and think it has to do with the aim being a bit low. attaching a pic of current aim, how off is it?
Does the headlight beam pattern self adjust down and up when you first switch on the car ? ( assuming you are in Auto mode ) I once had a problem where the self leveling function failed and my aim got too low. Could see basically nothing when I was driving around at night. Solution was to replace the self leveling sensor
Sorry, I meant to compare your picture against mine this weekend but forgot. If it is only one & a half feet high at 15' away, that sounds too low to me.
Looks perfect to me. Is the "left and right" alignment correct? It's impossible to tell from that picture.
See that "step" in the beam cutoff pattern (where the double white lines on the ground point to)? Each projector (left and right) produces this "step". The "step" of each beam should point directly ahead of the car. Aka, each "step" should be the same distance apart (the distance between the two headlights) no matter your distance away from the wall. The left headlight "step" looks straight ahead, but it's hard to tell if the right headlight "step" is far too left. If it is, it will restrict your "width" of the beam on the road. Can you take another picture that's not so blurry?
