You can switch between dual control and single control Try it both ways

Sounds like a servo motor problem [ Door is not opening ] Do both sides of the defrost blow hot as well as cool. Cycle your flow controls see if you can unstick it.

The first thing to try to resolve any computer problem is to "POPO" it. Power Off, Power On. Try disconnecting the car battery for 30 minutes and reconnecting it. It may reset the stuck climate control computer setting.

The only down side is you will have to also reset seat and side view mirror memory, and possibly any radio preset stations. Oh yeah, forgot that your navigation system will revert to default settings, I.e., you may have to reset geographic zone, toll road selection etc. it's not a big deal. It only takes 5 minutes to reset everything.

Inop temp UP switch? Temp can be lowered but not raised?

Perhaps a shop that repairs car stereos can look at it.

You may be shopping ebay for a climate control module. There are a few on there now that are under $300.
