This idea has worked for others on this and an Acura forum. Hold down the eject button and give the dash right above it a good hard smack. Good Luck!!!

I think I have found a little secret to our in-dash players,Always remove every disc by starting with the number 1 cd.My ML will jam almost everytime if I try to remove discs in the middle of the stack like number 3.If your disc does jam,use the two credit card trick, slide first credit card on top of stuck disc, second underneath disc, grab as closely to the stuck disc as possible and slide it out,do not use pliers or any other metal object for removal or your disc will be ruined.Lexus trashed Marvin Gay with their removal method before I learned the credit card trick on Club Lexus. My ML has never jammed when removing all discs starting with disc 1.

I've had this happen before. The player attempts to eject the CD, but returns an error code and the panel indicates there is no CD in that slot (but there is). What I have done is hit eject again and tap the edge of the stuck CD with a different CD as though I'm trying to load a new CD into the same slot, then the stuck one comes out.

This bug hit me last night. I will try all the snake oil remedies. Am pretty confident I will resolve it. This Forum rocks!

When I purchased my used SC430 I also ran into this problem (haven't resolved it yet). The system seems to indicate that I have 6 discs in the changer, but of course none play, when I try to play them I get "ERROR3'. When I try to remove them I get "DISC FULL".

I tried the method posted above by smacking the top of the dash while pressing eject with no luck. I also tried the credit card method posted above, but when I open the little CD changer door I cannot see any disc present to grab, they must be too low in the changer for me to see or access.

I wish I could get this working...

Sorry you have not debugged your issue. I will try mine tonight. Somebody here has taken the CD changer apart. So do not worry we have other means.

If your car is still under warranty, take to the dealer and they will "fix" it. Actually, what they will do is to replace it with another used unit and send your unit to a repair facility where they will extract your CD(s) and then mail them to you. Took about 3 or 4 weeks for mine several years ago.

Unfortunately my car is long out of warranty.

Per mandyfig's note, we may look for a solution to take apart the changer once we can remove it. I feel that there is still hope on this.
