This is really strange. Its the second time that my dvd navigation just stopped working. When you click on the "open" button the cover opens but the screen is totally black.

First time it happend, I thought it was because of the installation of vaistech slu unit but it fixed itself automatically after 2 days.

Do anyone know where the wires goes from the dvd nav screen, or where the powercable connector is from it?

 

Today, when trying to use the nav., I could see the lexus logo and text but after a sec, it just turned black again.

Isnt there anyone out here who could atleast try to help me out

I never had that experience on either of my 430s. Something is definitely wrong with the nav. Maybe as simple as a "bad" dvd?? Is there a reason why you would not just contact your dealer about this problem?

 

sounds like a bad slu install or bad slu unit

After pressing the "open button" the wood nav "hatch" opened, but the screen was totally black. I just had to press the "Map Voice" button and it automatically started working
