Default Tire Inflators

So,

In my recent foray of updates, I ditched the Continental run flats for a nice set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires in a 45 aspect ratio.

While I've not needed a spare in a long, long time (hope I'm not cursing myself), the thought of not having some sort of contingency plan seems, to the engineer in me, to be suboptimal.

So, I'm looking for a tire inflator.

Don't want a battery power one. Don't want one that connects to my phone (?). Don't want one that has LED output.

I would like something self-contained in a nice compact case.

Like this:

Inter Compressor Portable Air Pump Tire Inflator same as Porsche 1980s in car - Picture 1 of 3

InterCompressor evidently went away a long time ago, and while I can buy these used on e-bay, I want something I can purchase new.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Also look at a tire plug kit. Both will easily fit in a small space in the trunk

You could always go OEM

Can't guarantee it will work though

Wireless is actually the best cuz I don't have to roll up the wires and run it though the car/ drain battery, have the car on when I want to pump.

Depending on which house of tools you belong to almost every company makes one compatible with their tool batteries. Ryobi, Milwaukee, etc. it's just much easier to be wireless than running wires in the rain, snow, we emergency situations.

Looking around, I'm leaning towards this:

Would rather have a plastic case, but this will do.

I don't know if this helps at all. I have a larger size unit that fits fine with the tire plug kit I carry. My inflator is old and cheap, discontinued.

Bought that one. I like it.

When I first viewed the item there was a $20 coupon, so my price was $19.99. I see that it is now $69.99. I should have bought 2.
So, now, after 4 days at $69.99 is back to $37.99.
