Actually I thought the same thing. That collar pops out and it’s useable.

So just pop out the collar? Do you have to pop in the old collar from the oem unit?

well, after replacing it with a remote jurry rig, Texas removed the inspection requirement. So now I dont even use it. I find that not using the horn makes you a better driver. Instead of transfering responsibility to the other driver by using the horn, you start driving more defensively!
