Any 430 SC "Coffee Table" Books Out There?
Friends,
In addition to being a car enthusiast, I also enjoy collecting "coffee table" books of cars that are special to me. Particularly those that I've owned.
I've looked around for a book on our beautiful automobile...one with a history of the development and design of the car, as well as technical aspects and information on the changes from model-year to model-year. Oh...and of course, one with ample photographs! But...I can't find one, let alone a few to have a choice from! This just doesn't seem right.
Is any one aware of such a book? If so, how do I purchase it?
Mike

I purchased The Lexus Story when I bought my first LS400.
A beautiful, hardcover book wrapped in soft leather.
It has a few photos of the first year SC430.
Most of the book talks about the development and success of the early product, and then the SC430
has a few pages devoted to it.

I am curious as to whether there is still demand for this project. I have written two different coffee-table, landscape, photo-intensive books and would be very interested in creating this project.
For the other two books (one that is about 80 pages, the other about 140), I interviewed dozens of musicians, luthiers and owners. I would really like to create a similar book about the SC430.
In order to do so, I would hope to interview at least 15+ owners about their vehicles, and I would need to obtain high resolution images from as many people as possible.
For background purposes, I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from USC.
You can see the prior books here:

Lead Lap
That would be cool sblevins, though the demand for such a book would be low with regards to typical book sales. Then again, it may just strike a chord out there.
