Get an antenna that mounts inside your rest window and just remove the old antenna and shave and mold the hole. Lol. That's what I'm going to be doing.

Usually Ebay has them for a great price. I would try them first, and if no luck contact Aliga on here in the classifieds section. He might have one for cheap!!

If you're headlights are discolored they are still salvageable. You would have to buy a polishing kit that mounts to a drill( very easy process) and spray a uv coat on after.

Like others said restore your headlights instead of throwing them away. Also there is a thread about antennas where the guy shaved it and used a hidden antenna for about $30. I got the antenna and it is a charm. I think it was called tune trapper.

My antenna also shoots out like 10 feet and the comes down 3 feet and sits at about 7 feet not sure why it comes down a little after it goes up but it works! I'm also probably one of the only people that loves my huge antenna though. It's just one of those things, motorized antennas are GONE! Tell me which car manufacturing company produces cars with motorized antenna's these days..... It's just different and proper in some sort of way...

Can you tell me where you mounted your tune trapper?

Thanks

Between the carpet and the center console on the passenger side (since its straight). Just slide in the wire first and connect it to the headunit and then "hide" or tuck the antenna right in between. I believe I saw a pic somewhere on here. Let me find it.

Edit: I could have sworn I've seen a picture of somebody doing it, thats where I got the idea from. I cant find it anymore. Anyway you can mount it in the trunk I just didnt feel like running more wires to the trunk. Here is a generic picture of the passenger side from google. Just tuck it between the carpet and the center console.

Works well there? Seems like a logical place for it.

I get good signal. I installed it when I had the nokia with FM transmitter and throwing my phone to the backseat every time I wanted to transmit music was.... in the way. That is another reason I wanted it there.
