Question antenna

Hello there,

I am planning to replace the stock antenna and wondering if anyone of you guys know what are the difference between the JDM antenna and the S2000 antenna?

Thanks,

viz

I believe that the S2000 antenna does not fit flush with the base of our antenna. The altezza antenna is a little bit longer than the S2000 but it matches perfectly with the base on our cars.

Personally, I would but the altezza antenna because I like clean quality stuff on my car.

The big difference is that, the S2000 is free and the altezza antenna is about 50 bucks.

P.S. Free meaning that you go up to an S2000 and make that antenna yours.

Although you could easily go either way, for the sake of lexus owners not getting a bad rap, why not buy it? The S2000 antenna can't be all that expensive (it's a honda isn't it?)

It just seems like for 50 bucks, it's not even worth it to consider gaffin' a measly antenna -- if it was solid platnum or something then you know maybe.

You know how much it sucks to have your antenna disapear, so why cause the inconvienace to somone else?

(I'll get off my soap box now)

The S2000 antenna's like 30 bucks.
But in addition to what papadop88 said, the s2000 antenna is also not the same glossy finish like the base is so it doesn't quite look right.
I tried both, and I definitely prefer the jdm antenna too!

I agree too. I'd be extremely pissed about someone stealing my antenna. I remember when someone stole my Honda emblem off my car, I was so ticked. The person did it while I was in the library, for 30 minutes.

Plus if we started doing that, eventually the S2000 guys would start stealing our antennas, if nothing else to just throw them away.
