Phazer
i got 2 speeding tkts in one month, 21 over and 16 over, after that i stoped trusting these things, i hade an ak band with other things... it came on the car when i got it, it was mounted in the front bumper and the control for it was under the steering wheel im not sure but it does not work now..=), but i heard that the "valintine" or something like that was a really good police detector. never tried it
Yes good radar detectors are very hard to find, it is generally true that you do get what you pay for as far as detectors go.
I would love to try one of the scrablers out. Might have to save up and order one. It would sure be good insurance for the late night 140mph runs on the freeway.
Buy a Valentine One or Passport 8500 and keep in mind the limitations of any detector. The most important component in evasion of radar/laser is...............YOU!

In test after test after test, car magazines have found these radar/lidar jammers to be cr@p! Even if they "work", they don't do what they're supposed to do. Time and time again, products like that come and go, because once they're exposed, people stop buying them, and the company has to find a new market. Most, if not all, are scams.
Stop wasting your money and just use your eyes! Or just stop speeding! It doesn't do you any good if the law doesn't use electronic devices on you. They could sneak up behind you or better yet, they can easily judge your speed just by the way your car bounces.
But then again, I live in California.
