i took it to the shop they said it was the fan clutch.
so fixed it...it was blasting cold air.
now maybe a week later.
when i come to a stop it stops blowing cold.
only when i drive it blows cold. im hoping its not the compressor...
i need solutions!!!!
if it is the compressor so be it. but i fell like it dosent explain how it could be cold for a week???
then just stop spontaneously.....
I'm in an AC class right now and I'll probably start taking my ASE for it soon. You guys need to take it to an AC shop and have them do a performance test. I'll see if i can find the pressure specs but you need to have it checked for leaks/air/moisture in the system.

I say this all the time, If you pay a shop to diagnose a problem and their diagnosis is not truely the solution then go get your money back
Mine does the same thing when its 105+ here... I think it just has alot to do with the fact the condenser is sandwiched to the radiator so it pretty much just heat soaks at a stop
Sounds like there is an issue for sure. I'm in Vegas where its easily over 110-115 in the middle of the summer. AC should stay cold while your at a stop.
