Hi guys, I recently picked up a 95 lexus Sc400 and I can't wait to start modding her but i need some advice from the experts. I picked up a set of the OEM bmw 19 in rims and tires. Here's a pic of the rims next to my car for reference:
Would I need to run wheel spacers and if so what size? What about the lug nuts/ studs? Looks like I might have to roll the fenders as well since the rims are different off-sets. Here's a pic of the same rims but these on a GS lexus:
I also want to change out the horrid pillow style steering wheel. I was looking in to the 3 spoke IS300 steering wheel but can't seem to find any for sale. Are there other lexus/ toyota wheels that will work on my car? Last but not least i'm need some advice on suspension, i.e coilovers. I browsed thru the coilover thread in here but really couldn't decided on which brand name coilover I should go with. Thanks in advance
Thanks for all the quick replies guys! I bought the car from my dad (original owner) mileage is 118k, Just had the timing belt, water pump and seals replaced. The interior is in pretty good condition expect the driver seat has some wear on the side bolsters (over the years of my dad sliding his *** in and out of the car haha) I'll snap a few pics of the rest of the car, interior, engine bay etc tonight. Another thing I did notice is that the rpm needle on the cluster looks dim. I guess this is a common problem with these cars? Also I did some more research and it looks like I need to re-route the harness on the driverside fender if i plan on dropping the car low. Does that sound correct?
I know its been ages since anyone commented on this post, but i need some updates I just picked up these wheel a couple days ago and need some advice on what suspension setup I need. Also some end result pics would be nice. Let me know
