when you see bird shizzle on it, wipe if off as fast as possible. Its very corrosive.

Nothing with any form of silicone or carnauba should touch the paint for a couple of months, when the paint is fully cured. You can glaze it if you need to, no wax, and no overspray onto the paint from applying Armor All or any other dressing to the tyres. Just keep it clean dude. After it's cured, you can cut it lightly with a microfinish if you need to (you can colour sand whenever you see fit), and glaze and wax at that point.

Wet sanding the paint to remove any dirt or orange peel from the finish. For that, i'll tell you how to do it if you want, but I recommend you leave that to a professional, i.e. the guy that sprayed your whip. Or you can come for a seminar, i'm doing akmpres' car soon

Ian, could u post some pics of ur new paint job. i saw oen pic of it from the hotlanta meet, but it didn't show the paint in good detail. Also, i wouuld go ahead and get that 3M stuff that a lot of the GS members have on the front of their rides to prevent any more rock chips, etc.

Don't ever wash with soaps, cleaners, or detergents. Use Meguiar's or Zaino Bros. car shampoo. Wax every 1-3 months, and don't use Turtle Wax. Oh yeah, and don't park under those piece of **** trees that drop weird sticky specs all over your ride.

Default Weekend Paint Spray Seminar In New York!

We can make a weekend out of it! Just for an update on the repairs on the rear right QP, im waiting for the spash guards and trim parts to come in, as soon as they come in, she's in the shop! I had my acura trucked out here and have arranged with the local acura dealer to take back my lease, so i dont have to drive it back to the city. Plus i save alot on taxes! Anyway, the SC should be nice and fixed by the end of next week, Lex Luthor how does the first or second week of august sound? I'll send you my 7 dig in a PM.
Trudremz16, congrats on the new paint job.

OH Yeah, i was watching the SPEED channel the other day, actually it was a while ago, and they had this guy on from 3M with some special buffer that was taking scraches of the hood? and then he fixed the front bumper of the guys Lincon Nav. Did anybody see that one?
What was that product, is it any good?

Later guys

Default New paint on your SC

When you get around to waxing your car try Zymol. This polish has always worked well for me and really creates a deep luster in the paint. Good luck.
Kind regards,
Todd
