Default Bean....

Is your 90 300 zx still for sale?

If so ive got a few questions. Is yours a coupe or hatchback? And is it a 4 seater or a 2? Its the newer body style right? How much is insurance on that compared to your lex? And finnaly what int/ext color, any problems? and any aftermarket stuff?

Jason

And to make this on topic, when is the AWD IS300 coming out?

There were no 2+2 Z32 TT's sold in this country, only NA for the 4-seater, if you can consider those things in the back to be seats, so Bean's TT is a coupe.

Yup an original TT

Original motor was blown by a foolish 16 year old girl and I bought the car body; ordered an engine with 50k miles on it; and paid a professional nissan mechanic to put it together.

FYI: Automatic engines have smaller turbos and different cams than the Manuals... I've got a Manual engine in mine; it is faster than a normal automatic but launches slower since its an auto

All 1990 and some 1991 auto trannies blow up; i lost 3rd and 4th gear. Had it rebuilt by a experienced Z transmission mechanic for $2400; now it won't break its a very strong tranny; new torque converter and a 1piece aluminum driveshaft (i got that on a group buy)

Has a stock exhaust; gutted precats; and an intake. Car is in GREAT shape except for a break in one of the pillars on the front lip. I got it fixed up where its invisible; but it should be replaced. (Stillen front ends can be had for $250-$300)

I'm willing to go lower than the $8000; when I get this sold; I can get serious about getting a turbo on my Lex.

What interior/exterior color? Also leather? And how many miles on new engine and turbos? Are the turbos in good condition? Do you have an estimate on HP, 0-60 time and 1/4 time?
Sorry for all the questions but Im really interested in buying a 300 zx

exterior is white; no pearl or complexity to it; so its easy to paint
paint is in GREAT shape...

interior is red leather, in really good shape too
turbos are in great shape
the whole motor including the turbos, intercoolers, etc have 75k miles on them
body has just over 100k but it doesn't look like it

HP right now is probably around 310hp at the crank

with ECU upgrade, boost increase and a full downpipe-back exhaust, HP would be around 420hp

When I had the car i was making around 405hp... could take C5 Vettes on a roll (and autos in the 1/4)... LT1 fbodies and GT stangs were a pushover... LS1s were more difficult but easily pullable on a roll (took several SSs and a WS6 by about 3 cars on a roll)

0-60 then was around 4.8-5.0s because of the auto launch
1/4 mile was prolly around 13.3 or so at 108-109mph

it was a pretty damn fast car... NOS makes a kit for the car too and you wouldn't have to worry about fuel pump issues since it can handle around 800hp of fuel

a wet kit plus the boltons i just described would put you around the 550hp mark with a 100 shot

0-60 right now is prolly around the high to mid 5s, 1/4 mile is around 14.0 @ 102-103mph

this car is easily upgradable as all turbo cars are; Lex Luthor will let you know about that as will I

Very upgradeable, the VG30DETT is a very strong motor, plenty of potential. Just ask Kyle Puckett from SGP, he's well into the 10's with a street car, also an automatic.
