Most people on stock compression and internals don't go above 8 psi. And you should have a GOOD tune. Around 320rwhp.
With a thicker head gasket (to lower compression) most will push around 14psi, again with a good tune. Somewhere in the range of 450rwhp
You can swap GTE internals (pistons, rods, rings, etc.) and a TT head gasket and it will esentially be a GTE block. Which can hold something like 700hp. BUT you have to be very careful doing this and there is a LOT of debate whether to hone the block or not. The TT internals are the same bore as the GE internals so if you take to much material off it will be out of clearance and BOOM.
The exhaust and intake ports on the head are different from the TT and GE. As well as the cams.
It is essentially a NA Supra motor, but from what I have seen the non-vvti internals can hold WAY more power than the vvti internals. Heads are the same, cams are different from non-vvti to vvti head.
Im new to the Forum,
I have a 2002 IS300 which im looking foward to build little by little, however, it will be my daily driver so I'm not looking for a monster but at the same time wanna feel the boost...I'm talking about 300 to 350 horses...MY PLANS ARE TO TURBO THE 2JZGE (((ANY SUGGESTIONS)))?????
i personally would not suggest this company, i have heard a lot of bad reviews about this as a "BASE" kit.
without doing modifications, you can run into some major headaches.
