climate controle problem...

Default climate controle problem...

for some reason when i was done instailing a new deck on my 92 sc the climate controle didnt work but it worked befor i did the instail....... when i got the car the wire's was very messy because of the deck that the last owner did so i had to do alot of wire testing and stuff....but everything works. but the climate controle? i have a feeling i fryed somthing or shorted somthing out.. the climate controle light turns on but no light on switch and nothing shows on the screen and nothing works the only thing on the climate controle that works is the yello light in the lcd screen. HELP PLEASE SO I CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM LITTLE THINGS LIKE THIS IS HEADACE! =/

OMg...lol...i have the same friggin issue right now. I even bought a new working climate control and nothing. I am about to see if replacing the harness will work!

I checked my fuse tonight and sure enough it was blown. New one fixed it all up. Lucked out.

Which fuse and where? Kick panel or under hood? Im 6'4" So it is a pain in the *** to check those, let alone see and pull the right one

inside kick panel. think it was the only 25amp fuse I had in there. Not sure if that was factory 25amp or if I previously put it in there. It wasn't the bottom row and it was 2 or 3rd from the right hand side of kick panel.

So i checked all fuses and mine are all good. However I still have no climate control functions. It lights up but thats about it...any other ideas?

I have this same issue as well. Still no answer to this. All lights on climate control work but no functions and no read out on LCD screen.

Any help?

have you guys checked all 3 plugs from the back of the climate control?

I fixed mine, i didnt know the cig fuse was connected to it also. Yet it kept blowing, then i remembered when i bought the car the cig lighter didnt work. Since i dont smoke i unplugged it again and have never had a climate control problem since. I even bought a new climate control thinking my unit was bad! HAHA

I had a similar problem..it did the same as what you guys described, i checked the fuses under the kick panel and my cig lighter was blown, so i replaced it, now it only stays at 75 degrees, and doesn't even blow cold anymore..ugh
