my climate just went under the knife and it's got a fresh new lcd and bulbs. it's still sitting on my table as the car is covered in snow now and still waiting for my cluster to come in...my cig lighter doesn't work either but my climate's been fine, hopefully when i put it back it's ok.

I had the same problem, it turned out to be my cluster was causing the issue. Does your cluster work right?

I am having this problem too, EXCEPT when I got done installing my double-din DVD player the climate control light won't come back on. The climate control works perfectly the way it should/has been, but the turquoise light won't come back on so I have to turn the dome light on to see what the screen reads at night time. Also, as I'm sure we all have this issue, my LCD screen on my climate control is bleeding horribly with that black LCD liquid junk. Drives me crazy. I don't really mind about the light though, as long as my heat/AC works, I could careless lol.

I know that the cig lighter is on the same circuit that the climate control is on....always check the fuses and always check to make sure your cig lighter is functioning correctly. Many people have had problems with there climate control unit only to find that a coin (dime) has fallen into the cig lighter and shorted out fuse.

Default The lighter works

After replacing the RADIO, my climate control no longer works. I did not get all the wiring harness (missing the premium stereo amplifier pigtail), Now my climate control does not work. What wiring goes from the stereo to power the climate control. Is it the orange wire display that did not hook to anything? Bob

Hello all. this is my third day of owning my SC300 and I just had this issue the other day. Lucky for me It was the fuse again. there was a penny stuck in cig lighter.

After doing a thorough inside and out cleaning. I decided to remove the penny (while the car was on /GG). there was a slight spark and I noticed my climate control did not light up.

It is Fuse #6 and a 15 AMP. I hope this helps someone (drivers kick panel easy access).
