diy shocks
i have been letting my baby sit for almost a hlaf a year since my lil drift-a-bender with a fence and dodging a house. but is getting warm up here and how easy is it to swap out the shock for tokico luminas. i can do by ouwn brakes but how do i bleed the line
install the line on the chassis. Then let the line start to drip, Then attach the line to the caliper. Then bleed the whole system the old way. Pump 4+times at the pedal and open the bleed screw on the caliper. DO that to every corner. If you have a 4 piston caliper with 2 bleed screw you have to do it 4 times per bleed screw.
I did not have to take out my brake lines when I installed my shocks...
do the one man brake bleeding method.
install a line of the bleed valve
keep the bleed valve open
submerge the line in brake fluid bottle
pump
its kinda tricky thou.

Wrap the gladwrap around one end of the tubing and hold in place with the rubber band to make a simple one-way valve. This makeshift valve will let the fluid out, then collapse and stop the fluid being sucked back up again. This saves you from the traditional method of needing two people to do the job and trying to stay co-ordinated.
