Cluster reset ?
Before everyone says SEARCH I already have. I have a strange problem. My car resets the tripmeters, memory settings and clock everytime I shut the car off and open the door. I know about the battery thing and I have a brand new optima, its not that it does it when starting or turning the key forward it does it when I open the dorr after shutting the car off. I am wondering if there is a battery backup somewhere or something.
Has anyone heard of this?

sounds like you have a blown fuse (not sure which one) but I would check the one that controls the radio or somewhere in there. I can check later, but since the car is there with you, give that a look-see
Hi bill, 2 things
(1) here's our sig guidelines. https://www.clublexus.com/index.php/...view/173/1/12/
Please remove that and get within spec
(2) It sounds like the dimmer panel switch is faulty. Replace it first before anything else
.
Hope this helps

Thanks guys, I did check all the fuses and there was nothing out (ohm's and volt metered everyone). I will check on the dash piece though asap, is there a way to check it?
Sorry about the Signature, I took care of it.

I actually bought it off a guy who was on here Derek, he put alot of work into the car. I am presonalizing it now and just tying up loose ends. Its a fun car and he really built it more extreme than I would have the patience to do.
I am up in Fayettville every once in awhile on business, its a fun town.
