Problem with the cluster.
Alright I'm posting this thread for my Dad. He has a 99 LS400 with 135k on the clock. Recently he had to remove his positive battery terminal to take car of some corrosion. In doing so he left the key in the ignition and half turned so that the cluster was lit up.
Anyways ever since then the cluster hasn't worked. The CEL works, the Battery and Oil lights work. But the speedo, tach, fuel, and temp guages are out. Not only do they not light up but the pointers don't move.
We've checked all of the fuses, that wasn't the problem. So now I'm asking anyone who may have had this problem before. What's the fix?
