My vote goes for Tein SS unless you have the extra coin to drop on the CS that is.

Check out the Tein website... clicky here and scroll down to the Soarer/Supra applications... it states 10/6 not 14/9, which sounds like they're for the Flex or HR/HA dampers.

If the ride height is ever temporarily changed for whatever reason, does the car need to be realigned each time?

Example: my High School holds car shows. Say I wanna lower it some for the show, and then put it back to daily driving afterwards. Does it need to aligned at all in that period?

I would, but that's because I think of the theory as whenever something is changed on the suspension the whole suspension geometry changes. Unless you put a mark on the coilover strut I guess.
