Default Digital dash

Hello! My wife has an RX of 2024 and she have an old dashboard, as in the first photo, but now she want a new dashboard, like on the 2025 model, in the second photo. Has anyone changed their places? What could be the problems with this?

The 2025 dash cluster is much larger than the 2024 model and they are not interchangeable.

You can absolutely do this. Just go to the dealership and get the car that goes with the dash she likes

The overall dimensions of the new dashboard are the same as the old one, but inside the LCD display is larger. Do you think it will be a problem?

Based on my AI research, the swap is not recommended because of major electronic and other incompatibilities, including, but not limited to, physical hardware incompatibility and complex software reprogramming issues.

I sort of agree: buying a new 2025 with the desired new dash is always a doable alternative if you don't mind losing 10 to 15 thousand dollars.

Normally this would be a non-starter for me if we were just looking at the dashboard preference. However, one has to weight how unhappy the Mrs. is and what affect that is having on your mental well-being to determine if it's worth the cash. Happy wife, happy life = priceless.

Just look at the OP's photo of his wife's beautiful hand and nails, keeping her happy is of paramount importance :-)

What does the revised one have that the 24 doesn't other than a low tire🤣 In addition, the second one displayed is a hybrid which I don't belive the first is.
