Default Keep radio on after turning off RX?

We have an 2024 RX 350h. I had a loaner for a day, same model. In the loaner car the radio would continue playing even after the car was turned off UNTIL you open a door. I actually liked that but can find a setting to change our RX. Our radio shuts off after turning the car off. Any idea how to change that setting?
Thanks!

there is likely a setting in the menus that can only be accessed when the car is "on", not in accessory mode alone. make sure it's on, then look for the menu choices on exit delay. best to consult your owners manual .

there should be settings for how long your lights stay on, door lock/unlock upon park, etc. many choices!

Thanks!!! I tried to find it in that menu. I need to look again. I did find the on exit menu. It has to be in there somewhere.

Settings -> vehicle customize -> Utility -> turn off "ACC Customize"
That's it. Just did it Friday with the assistance of my salesman/tech specialist My service writer was ZERO help I have a 2024 RX350L If I understood correctly, they turn it on when software updates occur. People were draining their batteries listening longer than just to finish that one song when you pull into the garage.

Thank You LexiZuke!!! You are the first person to get this correct. I searched for days to find this answer. "Settings - Vehicle customize -> Utility -> turn off "ACC Customize" worked on my 2022 NX350. You don't even have to start the car. Just press the start button without your foot on the brake to put the car in ACC mode and then follow the Settings - Vehicle customize -> Utility -> turn off ACC Customize And you are done! Press the start button and only your music is playing. Open the door and the music turns off.

Do NOT listen to the radio in ACC mode. It drains the 12V faster than any other car I have seen.

I've never had a battery problem listening to the radio after turning the vehicle off. Listening to it in ACC mode is an entirely different story...

As I have said in the past, our dealer emphasized that we keep our 500h Hybrid in READY mode while we familiarized ourselves with the controls and features!!! Otherwise it would go flat.

Our European car limits the time in ACC mode to ~ an hour before warning you. Why didn't Lexus use a timer like that???

++++++++++++++++++

WellsB is prob like me, I began used to listening to the radio of my older cars with the ignition in ACC mode. Of course back then our low-powered radios with only ONE dash speaker didn't draw too much power.

I DID run down the battery while detailing my daughter's Ford, prior to her lease return.

Some various battery draws I discovered using a clamp-on amp meter on the battery cable.

Vehicle turned off with radio on 8 anps

Door open with vehicle off = 8 amps

ACC mode = 25 amps

ACC mode with seat heater or wheel heater on = 34 amps

ACC mode with HVAC system on = 36 amps

ACC mode with headlights on = 45 amps

our 2025 RX350h immediately posts a notice that the car will automatically shut down in one hour…
