Default Bluetooth Icon not turning blue Apple

Does anyone else experience Bluetooth icon not turning blue with iPhone on the Infotainment screen--the Bluetooth is definitely enabled and working--just not turning blue

My wife's is iphone 13, but it does turn blue for my Android S22(which takes forever to connect each time--have reset, reboot multiple times)

Do other people see that the bluetooth Icon on the Infotainment does not turn blue?

FWIW, my S22 works perfectly almost every time. Occasionally it takes a few extra dozens of seconds to connect, but it always connects.

I have tried everything--reset wireless settings, etc.. nothing seems to make the S22 connect--the infotainment says bluetooth wireless failed--I try again and then it connects--wish I knew a way of fixing that

Is your version of Android up-to-date?

turned blue--but mine when it does finally connect does turn blue---is it a software glitch on lexus

Well, I've connected a couple of Android and Apple devices so I do not think it is a Lexus issue. In the past, some apps can mess with BT.

Is Apple Carplay enabled?

I believe the car first connects through Bluetooth. If CarPlay or Android Auto are enabled then it switches to those instead of Bluetooth. They use Wifi.

Check to see if your system is set up for phone connection as phone only.

Carplay is definitely enabled and working on the screen--it works great.. just the Bluetooth icon does not turn blue---when Android Auto is working the bluetooth icon is blue.

Than it is working exactly as designed. CarPlay disables Bluetooth connection with iPhone and transitions all communications to either Wifi or wired connection.
It starts up with Bluetooth and quickly turns it off once CarPlays starts running.

For Android Auto, I think phone calls are still handled through bluetooth, but all other communication is Wifi.
